A pension benefit that covers the cost of a private Caregiver to help with daily tasks including bathing, clothing, eating and mobility. This includes care provided at home and in facilities for assisted living. If the client is blind or has a physical or mental disability, it may occasionally include care in a nursing home.

Veterans who served in the following wars (includes spouse/surviving spouse). Veteran must have served 90 consecutive days, with at least 1 of those days during “wartime”, even if they were not in a combat zone.

Have a total net worth (income & assets) at or less than $150,000.

A government claim form must be filed along with a medical doctor approval.
