Do you provide In Home Assessments?
Yes, we provide In Home Assessments and they are free at no cost to you and your family. It is highly recommended, it gives us a chance to meet in person and get a better understanding for the care needed, living situations, and make every effort to have the best possible caregiver for your loved one. If needed, we can make any adjustments.
What is included in your care plan?
We provide a personalized care plan, which can include medicine management, meal preparation, transportation, light housekeeping, and hygiene care and much more.
Are you Licensed?
Yes, we are Licensed under the Home Care Services Bureau and State of California.
How do you take precautionary measures against COVID-19?
Our caregivers wear masks, wear scrubs, sanitize and wash their hands frequently. We follow the Los Angeles County, Public Health Department and the Center for Disease Control (CDC) recommendations, policies, guidelines for health and safety for all our caregivers, employees, and clients.
Where do you provide care?
We cover all of Southern California.
Do you accept Insurance Policies?
We assist with the reimbursements for Long-Term Care Insurance Policies and can provide further details over the phone or in person.
Is your company available 24/7?
Yes we are, as most agencies are open during office hours 9 to 5, both our office and caregivers are available night and day 24/7 via text, email, and phone call. Providing the accessibility and flexibility of any concerns in 24 Hours Care for your loved ones. We are available 365 days a year, on holidays, weekends, and nights.
How do you screen your Caregivers? Are they given a criminal background check?
At Comforting Caregivers we screen their qualifications, skills, and references. They go through a live scan which is a background check and fingerprinting for any criminal record from Department of Justice and Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI)
Do you provide any type of training for Caregivers?
All our caregivers are highly qualified and skilled to assist with clients and attend to each client's schedule and needs. They receive various and necessary training as required by Home Care Services Bureau, which include safety precautions, infection control, lifting and moving clients, helping with ADL's (activities of daily living).
